In 1937, Vancouver high school student Dal Richards landed a part-time summer job in White Rock, playing the saxophone as a member of the orchestra at the Blue Moon Room. For over 50 years Dal Richards and his Orchestra have delighted Canadians with the memorable dance music of the 40's.

Dal Richards is known across the country as Canada's King of Swing. He is an active volunteer, a member of the Order of Canada and winner of the City of Vancouver's Civic Merit Award. Check out Dal's Place on the Unforgettable 600 AM , Saturdays 6-7pm and Sundays 9-10 pm.
